Electronic Load Weighing System

Comfort for Everyone:

LWS 3FR Electronic Load Weighing Systems

The most important aspect of an elevator is accurate measurement and feedback. If one of these functions is missing, comfort is compromised. The LWS 3FR Electronic Load Weighing Systems are the choice for those who cannot compromise on these two aspects. Ametal’s electronic systems can measure the load from different points with three different options.

Common Features

– With DAC OUTPUT, elevator load information is transferred to the speed control unit, providing a comfortable journey and energy saving.
– With the additional DARA feature, LWS 3FR uses the previously memorized DARA value every time the elevator car reaches the last floor (with the forced decelerator switch 818 connected). Thus, the measurement errors encountered in practice with the change of rope tensions are eliminated.
– Thanks to the HOLD feature, the car load is transferred to the system following the closing of the door. In this way, signaling inputs that may occur due to mechanical acceleration during the take-off of the cabin are prevented.

LWS 3FR

LWS 3FR is the first electronic load measurement system product developed by the Ametal R&D department. The first product to be launched in 2009 is a programmable electronic system that is attached to the floor of the cabin and can precisely determine the amount of weight carried within the cabin. The unique feature makes it possible to complete all settings within a few minutes.

LWS 3FR 311

The original design that has been patented is a world first. The LWS 3FR 311 electronic load measuring system is installed on rope bottles and can accurately measure load under stress. The original design offers an ideal solution for newly built elevators, with its light structure and easy installation feature.

LWS 3FR 211

The LWS 3FR 211 electronic load measuring system alerts the system by measuring the tension in the rope in 4 main functions (full load, minimum load and overload) with the help of 3 Loadcells mounted on ropes. Accurate measurement is ensured by 5% of the working sensitivity. The ultra-light structure of the load cells simplifies the inner-well operation.
